1966 Chevelle SS Custom
This custom 136 car has undergone restoration some time ago and is finished in a custom mix 2 stage Marina Blue paint that is nice... perfect no, but it is nice and the clear adds a good amount of depth. This 66 is a nice driver car so if you are looking for perfect or SHOW QUALITY this is not your car. That being said... it is STILL a nice, LS Powered, fast and fun car! All panel gaps line up well and the doors open and close as they should. The bumpers shine true and bright presenting themselves VERY well and the same can be said for all trim on this car. The glass is in great condition and easy to see through. This car gets a lot of looks on our showroom! The stance of this car is incredible as well with a set of custom Riddler staggered wheels wrapped in NEW R-compound Firehawk rubber!
Between the fenders rests a rebuilt 6.0 as well. It sounds great at idle with a Comp Thumper Cam .532 lift 262 268 Duration. It was all resealed at the time of the build consisting of PAC Behive Springs, Texas Speed push rods, LS7 Lifters, Rollmaster Billit Timing chain, LS3 Multi layer gaskets, ARP headstuds and was all assembled with ARP hardware as well. The engine has been nicely detailed, runs great and has 243 heads for GREAT Flow. It is paired to a reman 4l60 with a FTI 3000 Torque converter and a 12 bolt posi-traction rear end. It shifts smooth and PULLS HARD through EVERY SINGLE GEAR! It also has new fuel lines and tank. This Makes for a nice quite ride. The car also sounds incredible with a 2.5in exhaust out to the back attached to headers! This car starts with the turn of a key first time and every time. With the addition of power steering and power disc brakes in ALL 4 corners it is so much fun to drive! The underside of the car is CLEAN and has a STRAIGHT frame!
The interior is all NICE with carpet that is free of stains or rips. The bucket seats are reworked, look new and feel good. The headliner is TIGHT and clean as well! The Dakota Digital Dash is NICE and they are easy to read. The door panels have been reworked and all hardware works as it should.
