1968 Camaro SS custom
For the money, this is the nicest, fastest 68 in the nation right now! The finish on this restoration is NICE. This Camaro is a super solid, rust free, restoration looks to maintain original panels except for the fiberglass hood. The body lines are nice and panel gaps line up well. Both doors shut with confidence and nicely as they should to reveal NICE panel gaps. The Fathom Green multi-stage paint was laid down well! The clear adds a TON of depth, is it perfect... no but it looks GOOD. The bumpers and trim are true, bright and look awesome! The glass is also nice, including gaskets! Anywhere that has been painted has been color sanded, cleared and polished. Bottom of the doors are SHARP and rockers are SOLID. The car sits on a set of brand new polished wheels with NEW rubber. The wheels, tire and suspension combo really set the car off well giving it a nice aggressive stance.
The interior is completely restored and clean as well with all new door panels and reworked seats! There are no tears, rips or stains anywhere! All of the gauges work properly and look great as well. The headliner is TIGHT and rear deck lid is clean. Both front and rear seats look great.
The undercarriage is super clean as well and very nicely detailed.
The engine bay has had so much attention and is NICE! In this bay rests a 468ci Merlin big block engine that is freshly built and upgraded with a nice sounding aggressive cam. It is paired up with a 400 transmission and 12 bolt posi rear end geared perfect for all the torque in the world, It is also fuel injected! It is incredibly smooth and the suspension featuring multi-leaf springs! The 2-core radiator does an incredible job keeping it nice and cool. This beautiful 68 runs, drives and sounds like a dream thanks to a set of headers and custom exhaust system! With power steering and power disc brakes this car is a driving machine.
