This is not a numbers matching car.....With that being said, it is a BUILD SHEET documented, REAL DEAL, factory AC car and it has been restored to the way it was built and at a VERY HIGH standard!
As pictures will try to capture this car’s straight-as-an arrow panels, SMOOTH contours and CRISP lines are incredible! Panel gaps line up PERFECTLY and the Crotez Silver paint laid out over this laser straight body is SHOW quality! This Chevelle’s deep, rich paint is incredible at any angle you want to take it in! The clear that was laid out adds a TON of depth and the reflection is mirror quality in this beast. I have only seen a few paint jobs look this good in my LIFE! This meticulous restoration is exactly what everybody wishes their traditional restoration would look like, right down to BF Radials!
In addition to having a build sheet.... and a copy signed by V. V. Cooke to back everything up... the glass is all clear, NEW and easy to see throughout. Do some research on VV if you would like a little Chevy history, The VV Cooke dealership opened its doors 1930 and closed in 1982 selling a lot of cool GM stuff. For those of you who know..... you know.
The bumpers are NEW and reflect like a mirror, plus the grill is new old stock. The bottom of this car looks just as clean as the the top. The pans are all solid as pictures will show! The frame has been media blasted and is clean. This car represents a NICE restoration right down to the end! The fit and finish on this vehicle is second to none and there are not enough adjectives in the English dictionary to fully describe this car!
Interior is show quality, boasting a set of hand-worked seats. Carpet is ALL new and free of stains. The Gauges are ALL clear and easy to read. The dash is perfect and the door panels have been reworked just as Chevy intended as well! I will even through in the original door panel with the build sheet. Everything in this interior is nice- right down to the retro sound AM/FM stereo radio!
As you pop the hood, you immediately notice that between the fenders rests a period correct 396 This car is a nice and drives like a dream!! It is paired to a 4spd trans that shift as smooth as butter. This car starts with the turn of a key - first time every time. It runs extremely well and drives like NO OTHER! Look at all of the gm hoses and clamps, the detail is incredible!!
The exhaust has an incredible note that is VERY unique as it should from a 396 with GM manifolds!! It sounds GREAT at idle and only gets better as you get into the gas! This Chevelle is equipped to stop and the whole brake assembly as GM intended it to be, take a look at the undercarrage pictures! Resting on a set of OEM wheels this 70 has the look and the POWER to back it up! Look at all the pictures, PLEASE... this car is incredible! This car is ready to drive!!! The only thing it needs is a driver!!
Don’t bother making an offer of $10,000 below my buy it now as there is NO way I paid that for the car and can’t sell it for that. Please don’t waste my time and I won’t waste yours.
