1971 Chevelle SS Custom
First off this is a 1971... it IS TITLED as a 1971. With that being said... this beautiful car has 70 front clip and rear bumper. This is a nice, FAST build! This body is nice and it looks good. Contours are smooth and the lines are crisp! The rocker panels are solid and the bottom of the doors are SHARP. This is NO bondo bucket car. Is there some here and there, sure there is... just like any other restoration. The CUSTOM mix red that was laid out was done well, is it perfect... heck no, but the price is and it looks great for a 550 HP big block car. The bumpers present themselves well and all of the trim looks great. The glass on this car is clear as well! The doors shut as they should with NO issues in any way. The headlights are clear and the same can be said for the taillights. The custom stance of this car is NICE! This driven restoration is nice! This car starts, runs and drives INCREDIBLY well and sounds great breathing through a custom exhaust!
It has all newer suspension as well eith lowing springs in the front. The 12 bolt rear end has been all gone through with all new parts, locker posi, new 3:42 gears, new yukon axles, and of course all new bearings. It also has newer steering components including steering box as well! The Hydro boost power brakes do an great job for slowing this big block beast down. The engine bay is SUPER clean as pictures will show! The engine is a 454 block, 4 bolt main with studs. It features an eagle steel crank, eagle h beam rods, forged pistons and a full ballance! To tie up some loose ends it also big radiator and dual 3600 CFM fans with shroud and AC compressor if you want to go that route. The trans is a 400 turbo that is built including hughes valve body,hughes pump, and a 2500 billet converter. This car sounds incredible!! The interior was all redone and looks good as well. With bucket seats, console, clean carpet and headliner! The wiring has all been gone through and the dash has been updated to Dakota Digital gauges!
This car is FAST and ready to drive with NO work needed. It pulls hard through every gear and is a blast to drive. This is a VERY nice driving driving classic! DO NOT miss your chance to own a beautiful 71/70!
